A tribute to resilience, beauty,
and collaboration
Faces of Bocaina
Documentary Identity
"Faces of Bocaina" is a documentary collective highlighting the challenges faced by Indigenous, Caicaras, and Quilombolas communities in Brazil with their project "Bem Viver" (Good Living). For this powerful initiative, Krul Creative designed a complete visual identity—from logos and title screens to posters and symbolic elements.
The blend of styles in this visual identity not only supports the documentary's content but stands as a work of art on its own. It’s a tribute to the resilience and beauty of the communities at the heart of this project.
Inspired by the rich traditions of Brazilian art, surrealism, and activist art, the design reflects the deep cultural roots and enduring spirit of resistance within these communities. The vivid colors and symbolic forms of Brazilian art meet dreamlike surrealism, while the touch of activism adds a layer of urgency—powerfully conveying the themes of resistance and survival.
